The Chicago Fundraising Accelerator is designed to provide small nonprofits with an innovative and customized solution for their fundraising training needs, by focusing on your internal talent.
We typically begin with the Chicago Fundraising Accelerator Boot Camp, which is a two-day deep dive into your current fundraising operation. Using six key learning concepts, we analyze your donor base, helping you identify and target your top revenue opportunities.
This is followed by one-on-one coaching for your organization so you can get the help you need...when you need it. Or, if you need additional assistance, project management and interim assignments are also available.

TRAINING FOR YOUR TEAM
We training up to four people from your organization, for the price of one. When the entire leadership team understands their role in fundraising, you begin to create a culture of philanthropy.
A strong development program is not a one-person job -- even if only one person is assigned to it.
We train in small groups, between 5-8 organizations at one time, to ensure the course material is highly customized to meet the needs of the group. Evaluations by participants after the first day ensures the curriculum is relevant.
Maintaining a limited number of participants ensure our ability to teach course material base upon your needs.
We don’t recreate the wheel. Instead, we facilitate the group to share practical “tried and tested” learnings and tactics from each other. Activities and exercises during the session encourage sharing of best practices and ideas.
Through discussion we adapt tactics and strategies to your unique operation and culture.
We don’t work with theoretical concepts. All lessons and exercises during the course use your data and donor lists. This makes the lessons incredibly relevant to your organization, and provides the basis to determine your top revenue opportunities.
Not only are you learning concepts, but work is getting done.
YOUR TOP OPPORTUNITIES
We don’t try to do everything. Based upon your donors’ history of giving, we identify 1-2 top opportunities to target. You leave the session with a development plan created around your top opportunities.
These opportunities can include individual donors, special events, earned income, and grants — all based upon your unique situation
EXECUTION OF PLAN
Lastly, we work to integrate tactical development activities into your operations. Everyone is short on time so we breakup activities into “bite-sized” pieces so they are easy to implement.
